The advice to be everywhere leaves owners stretched thin and brands spread so wide they say nothing well. Being visible does not require being on every platform. It requires being genuinely present in the few places your buyers actually pay attention, and doing that consistently.
Everywhere Is a Trap
Trying to be everywhere is a trap. Spread across every platform, your effort thins out, the quality drops, and the brand starts to feel scattered rather than substantial. Being loud in every channel is an entry-level instinct, and it usually produces a lot of activity and very little authority.

Choose a Few Channels Deliberately
The premium approach is to choose a few channels on purpose, based on where your specific buyers already look, and commit to them. Two channels done consistently and well build more recognition than six done occasionally and thinly. Choosing deliberately also keeps the brand coherent, because you are not stretching one message to fit wildly different places.
Depth Beats Breadth
Depth is what builds authority. Showing up consistently and well in a couple of the right places compounds into being known there, while scattered presence everywhere fades as fast as it appears. Restraint reads as premium, and it is also simply more effective. Fewer channels, done properly, is how you become visible without being everywhere.
